Because of the natural variations in the color of each piece of slate, those shown are representative of the range of greenish / gray color shades that could be used for your plaque. Although the exact color of the slate within this color range cannot be guaranteed, the signs seem to appear a little greener when viewed on the computer, than in real life. The color of the engraving is as shown. The general limitations on the total number of characters/spaces that can be engraved on each line are as shown for each particular model, however there is a limited amount of flexibility. The Standard is (14.25" x 10.25"), while the Estate is (19" x 14"). Both the Standard and the Estate size can hold up to three rows of engraving, and come in your choice of either a Wall mounted model (shown), or a Lawn mounted model, which includes metal mounting stakes that push into the ground. Styled and handcrafted in heavy sand cast aluminum. Our most popular colors are a distinctive black, blue, red, green, or white slate-look textured background contrasted against raised gold bronze letters and border. However an extended range of colors is also available. The durable finish will stand up to the toughest weather conditions.         The Standard size can hold can hold up to three rows of engraving.
